Isa. 25:8,9 " He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces, and in that day one will certainly say Look! this is our God Jehovah!

To the Pennington Family. Please accept my sincere condolences. I am sorry to hear of your loss and know the pain of the death of a loved one. It can be a difficult time. God's Word is a great source of comfort and hope. Isaiah 25:8 says that 'death will be swallowed up forever'. What a relief. The time will come when we will no longer look forward to it. Even better, is when the time comes when we will see our loved ones again, as Acts 24:15 promises, "There is going to be a resurrection...". The God of the Bible is truly 'the God of all comfort'. (2 Corinthians 1:3). I hope that by reflecting on these future promises, they will bring you much comfort.
