Wilma Marie House

Our beloved Wilma Marie House of Powhatan, VA passed on January 4, 2018, from a recent diagnosis of AML (Leukemia), 38 years to the day after her life altering auto accident. Wilma was born in Puerto Rico with a wonderful PR mother and a Cherokee father, raised Catholic in Virginia Beach. And go figure, she married a Southern Baptist. Although disabled, she & Gary owned Primrose & Persimmons Antiques in Goochland, VA. She loved antiques & retained all she learned, never forgetting anything, especially things Gary did. She made us responsible and laugh. She will always be missed. Wilma was a Daughter, Mother, Wife, Aunt, Cousin, Fighter for life, lover of all people, friend to all whom she met, strong willed, speaker of the truth, never gave up and always tried to excel. She is the daughter of Esther Beisel of Virginia Beach and Charles Bohling (deceased). She is survived by her Mother, Step-Mother Irene Bohling, brother Thomas Bohling, sister Judy Mercer, daughters, Aimee’ Demers & son-in-law John, recently departed Melissa Mclemore & son-in-law Daniel, Rachel Fiorello & son-in-law James, loving grandchildren & husband, Gary. There are too many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & very close friends to list. She loved you all. A funeral service will be held at Noon Saturday, January 13th at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294. The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt Vernon Memorial Park in Glen Allen.
