Celebrating the life of Cannon Lee Bruce
Thank you for signing Cannon Lee Bruce's Guestbook
Holding you and your family close in my prayers in this time of immeasurable pain and grief. God loves each of us so much more than we know, and may Cannon now rest in His peace and love til the end of time. May this be some small comfort to you each time your pain becomes too great to bear, and may that pain diminish as you remember the joy Cannon brought to you during his lifetime.

It is so very hard to know what to do when your child hurts. The pain runs deep. I can only hope that Cannon gets his peace, but I am sure he will never know the pain and anguish of those left behind. I will pray for the strength and healing that will be needed desperately by you all. Please know you are not alone.

It's never easy to lose someone you care about; the pain is unimaginable for the family, especially for Cannon to slip away so fast and so young. In this time of pain and loss, we must come together. We who knew Cannon know who he was and what he meant to everyone around him. He is free now; more free than he ever could have been. To Jody: in this time we are praying for you continually. Although you may be thinking about what you could have, should have, would have done, you must remember that there was more to this. Please know that we are here to support and love you - just say the word and we will be here. Angela, there is no comparison to a mother's loss. We are here to do anything for you. Lillian, I know this is so hard for you, to lose a brother so young. You are surrounded by love and compassion and grace, more than you know. Remember, the darkness exists to make light truly count, and I believe you are a light to the people around you.
My own memories of Cannon are distant, but I can still remember his smile and the wordless understanding I had as he mentored me in a way few others have since then. During this darkness of pain and confusion, I - no, we all must remember that it is in the darkest of rooms that light can shine the brightest. To the Bruces, please allow me to be a light and a love to you in any way I can. Cannon meant more to us than you know, and in wake of this tragedy I want to support you in any way possible. You are loved beyond belief and we lift you up in this time.

We are shocked and saddened by this loss. Our deepest prayers go out to you. I will always remember the “crew days”when the boys were still so young and carefree. God bless your family in this time of grief. May God give you strength and hope.
