Charles “Corkey” Wingfield was called to the big fishing hole in the sky on Tuesday, August 20, 2019.
Corkey is survived by his loving and devoted companion, Pat Burton and her daughter, Allison (Tyler and Evan); his daughter, Jessica (David), son Charles, Jr. (Frances and Roland); brother, John (Mary); sisters, Cathy (Bill) and Sandy (George); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Corkey requested no services.

My heartfelt prayers are being sent to each of you.
My memories of Corkey are too numerous to mention, but I am most grateful to him for our children. I am thankful that God chose us as their parents and He entrusted them to us.
I am thankful that God knows the Beginning and the End, and that he makes all things new, which brings peace to my heart.
Corkey will always have a special place in my heart.
