Herbert S. Thompson Jr., 19, unexpectedly fell asleep in death on Friday, August 6^th, 2021. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sarah Lundie. Left to grieve are his mother and father, Herbert Thompson Sr. and Sabrina Thompson; siblings, Jamar, Charles, Cornelius, Sharika; 10 nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. Herbert Jr., better known as “June,” was known amongst his friends as the class clown. To family, he was a musical genius. He could hear a song one time and then play it on the keyboard and drums. He routinely created poetry against an instrumental background. Most recently, he had gotten into the healthcare field as he wanted to use a portion of his time to assist those in need. A viewing will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 5-7pm at Affinity Funeral Home.
