We all miss and love him and wish that we all could celebrate his life in person together but the safety of those we love is important during these times. We love you and remember to carry on the “Stan the Man,” “Six Strang” Legacy and spread JOY to everyone around you.
Daddy, I never expected to have to say bye so soon in life. You were so full of joy and love that my heart aches every day without you here physically. You were not perfect, but you were the BEST daddy in the entire world and I would not have chosen another person to be my daddy. You disciplined us. You showed us how to worship. You hugged us. You guided us. Pinched our cheeks and touched so many lives in a positive way that your legacy will live on through so many people. I do find comfort in knowing that you are a true worshiper and that you are in the presence of the Lord playing the guitar with the biggest grin on your face. We promise to take care of mom the best we can and I know your kids and grandbabies will continue to make you proud. I’ll see you in heaven. Until then, I will choose to put a smile on my face daily, even when I don’t feel like smiling. You taught me that laughter is so important. Your way of telling a story, but couldn’t get it out because you were laughing so hard will never be forgotten. . Love always, Your Bookie Boom Boom.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.
– Mary Elizabeth Frye
And he will live with us forever through the music that was Uncle Stanley’s laughter.
Stanley Jones, we’ll miss your sweet spirit and that smile that lit up the room! Gone to the New Jerusalem as Poppa Daddy would say. God shone all through you! May His love and grace console your family.
Stan the man!!! Now he’s playing with the angels to our Lord…whew! We are Just rejoicing on the inside because the Father let us meet one of His worshipers, a man that brought Laughter to ALL that came into his life. All that’s left to say is “ well done my friend well done.”
