Alan Ray Gregory Sr.
September 1, 1967 – August 2, 2023
We are sad to announce the passing of a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Alan Ray Gregory Sr., 55 of McKenney, VA passed away unexpectedly at Chippenham Hospital following a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
Alan was born and raised in Virginia. He worked in construction most of his life. Many would describe Alan as being a nice, sweet, humble person with a heart of gold. Alan enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, boating, camping, working on cars, and building. He was a jokester and always wanted to make people laugh.
Alan is survived by his mother, Patsy C. Gregory; son William M. Gregory (Angela); a cherished friend, Shelley Wagner; sisters Annette S. Hood (Bob) and Patsy G. Laugois; and brother William A. Gregory Jr. (Tina); as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, William A. Gregory Sr. and son Alan Ray Gregory Jr.
The memorial service will be private only close family. A celebration of life will be planned in the coming weeks.
