Ann Marie Smith, 67, of Richmond, Virginia, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus surrounded by her husband and son on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. She was born June 23 1956 in Richmond, Virginia. Ann was preceded in death by her parents Roy Earl Andrews and Mae Barr Nevins, along with her in-laws, Tommy Smith II and Joan, Leon Towner, Bobby Smith, and Linda Smith; niece and nephews Shane Gentry, Buddy and Penny Pope.
She is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Tommy Smith III; her son, Justin Smith (Jennifer); and two step-children, Jennifer Smith (Kevin) and Tommy Smith IV (Wendy); along with six grandchildren, Alexis, Kelci, Nathaniel, Shaye, Jay, and AJ; four great-grandchildren, Jasir ’, Indy, Makai and Kartier; four loving sisters Lera Smith, Elizabeth White (David), Margaret Harding, and Bonnie Andrews (Tammy); three brothers, Roy Andrews (Pam), Bill Andrews, and Tommy Andrews; two sisters-in-law, Terry Davis Towner and Cathy Gaurd (Charles); three brothers-in-law, Joe Smith, Kenny Smith and Ronnie Smith (Debbie); many nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Becky Dawson (Junior).
Ann loved her family deeply and took pride in always being present. Her joyful spirit, tender heart, warm hugs, and infectious laughter will never be forgotten.
The family will receive friends at Richmond Heights Ruitan Club on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 3:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will take place at the same location, 7440 Wilton Road, Henrico, VA 23231 at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please bring a covered dish.

Ann, You ,Tommy, and Justin were the first of Tony’s friends that I met when I first came to VA in 1994. I was so happy to be reconnected with you for the past few years. When I moved to Richmond I always thought about you all the fun times we had when I met you.
