Ann Peay Lane,85, of Mechanicsville, VA passed away on June 23, 2023. She was born on November 4, 1937, to Edward and Edith Peay.
Ann was a graduate of Hermitage High School and then went to Grace Hospital for nursing school. She was a Registered Nurse for 20 years. She loved golf, playing cards, games, and cooking.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Pam Wood(Russ), her grandchildren, Kristin Williams(Josh) and Hunter Wood(Aleece), and her great-grandchildren, Hadlee and Parker. She is also survived by her step-daughter Judy Englehart(Milton) and her family. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her brother John, her first husband John Bradley, and her beloved husband Winfree Lane. The family wants to thank Dr. Walia and his staff & the Infusion Ctr for all of their kindness & support during her illness.
A Celebration of her Life will be at Cool Spring Baptist Church (Main Sanctuary) at noon on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 Visitation will be prior from 11 am to 12.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Bon Secours Hospice in appreciation of their kindness and care in her final days.
