Ann Peters
September 15, 1954 – November 26, 2022
Ann Peters, 68, of Richmond, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2022, in her home. All her loved ones were surrounding her.
Ann was born in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of the late, James and Ethel McAnany. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph McAnany and William Devito; and sister, Patricia Caldwell. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, George James Peters; beloved daughters, Denise Malley (Kevin) and Kellyann Peters; three very special grandchildren, Taylor, Tori, and Aidan; and three great-grandchildren, Kai, Finley, and Zoey. She is also survived by her amazing sisters, Gail, Dolores, Mary (Tony); and brother Michael (Mary Ellen) who loved her very much. In addition to her siblings, she was preceded in death by her furry children, whom she held so dear to her heart, Sheba, Marcy, Annie, Elizabeth, Sheba, Bear, Cody, and Ella.
Ann loved music and dancing. She was known in Philly to cut a rug with her family and friends. She was a master at Poker and could take anyone out of the game with her cool poker face. Most of all, she was the rock to our family, she loved us so much and always put us first, she will be dearly missed. Heaven gained a truly amazing angel. Love you momma.

My thoughts and prayers for everyone. I sadly did not get to know Ann well, but from all the wonderful things I’ve heard over the past few years , she was amazing! She adored her family as much as they adored her. I know she will be missed dearly. I hope you will all find some peace and comfort in knowing that there are many of us who are here for each of you during this difficult time of loss.
My heartfelt condolences to the family. My thought and prayers are with Ann’s siblings , nieces and nephews. I hope happy memories help you all through this grief. Dolly, Natalie and Tara the greatest gift we can give to those we love is to care for them. I know Ann felt this gift from the three of you till the end.

George, Kelly Ann and Denise, So sorry for your loss but Annie is now joined her sister Pat and although it is one reunion we cannot attend, we have to take comfort in nowing they are at peace together. Loved her a lot and will miss her both as a family member and most of all friend. She will always be remembered as being “REAL” to herself and all of those around her.
Ann, you and Gail were my spiritual mammas & although I am so sad to hear of your passing I am so happy knowing you’re in a better place where you no longer have to suffer. I will cherish our talks outside of the building and the wisdom you passed on to me during our chats. You & Gail had the kind of relationship I hope to always have with my sister. I can see you now – in your cat slippers in paradise! 😢 Love and miss, Brianna
Ann meant so much to so many, including me. Denise, I loved growing up with your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Ann is at peace now and her pain is gone. She will forever be watching over you all.
Love,
Marie
