Obituary message
Ann Sylvia Guida Vaughn, 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 2, 2018. She was the last of ten children born in Summit, NJ to Italian immigrant parents. Ann epitomized and shared the love of Jesus in everything she did and through her beautiful, welcoming smile and open arms.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Bob Vaughn, in 2010. She is survived by her four daughters, Gail Miller (Glenn), Sheryl Lewallen (Troy), Robin Ryan (Jack), Faith McClintic, and one beloved son, Greg Catt. Ann’s wonderful family also includes five grandchildren, their spouses, six great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at Spotswood Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA on Monday, July 9, 2018. The family will welcome friends beginning at 9:00am with a service and reception to follow at the church. Burial at Quantico National Cemetery will take place at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Bon Secours Hospice or the hospice of your choice. Ann’s family wishes to thank the loving team of Bon Secours Hospice for their care and support during these past several weeks.
Gail, Sheryl,Robin, and Faith and to you Greg, I know Ann was absolutely thrilled to be in heaven with Bob again. I can only Imagine! What a celebration that is! God blessed you with the best Mom. I am glad God allowed me to not only know her but Bob as well with their kindness. They always treated me very well. God bless all of you as you get together to celebrate her life. Lots of precious memories.
