Arthur L. Straus, Jr.
April 15, 1975 – January 31, 2022
Arthur Lee Straus, Jr.,46, of Ashland passed away on January 31, 2022, at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hanover County, Virginia.
He is survived by his mother, Vanessta Straus; stepmother, Shelia Straus; siblings, Daron Straus (Stacie), Shannon Lewis (Precious), Sharonda Lewis, Eunica Terrell (Frederick), Devin Dandridge. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lee Straus, Sr.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Parkway, Richmond, VA 23294.

I remembered Peanut as a good kid. I also remembered his b’day because he was born on my b’day and my son b’day was 2 days later. They were almost born the same day.
I was so hurt to hear of his illness so I prayed for him and he hung in there for a long time. And now I believe he is well and happy. Take care Bit God has him now.
Bit, you and your family have my sincere condolences, I pray that God will give you strength to get through this difficult time, no words can comfort You the way that God’s Love can. Rest in His Peace, and know that’s exactly what Peanut will be doing. So sorry to hear of our loss Bit I say our because you know of the love for Peanut and the fact that we all had our kids at the same time and lived in the same place. My heart aches for you my sister. I thank God for all of the wonderful memories he left behind. Love you.
