Obituary message
Audrey Lee Davis, 73, of Henrico County, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2017. Audrey was born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.
Audrey worked at the University of Richmond in the Heilman Dining Center for over 22 years. She will be missed by many friends.
Audrey was very much devoted to her family. She loved family dinners and spending time with both of her grandchildren on a regular basis. They will miss her hugs, kisses, and love greatly.
Audrey was proceeded in death by both her parents, Dorsey and Betty Nelms, sisters, Lois Knight, Ella (Tidy) McDuffie, and Geraldine Bennett; brothers, A.D. Nelms, Sambo Nelms, and Bobby Nelms.
Audrey is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Jones (Ryan); two sisters, Roxie (Colleen) Frame and Martha Hicks; two grandchildren, Ryleigh Grace (3) and Selina Charity (2) and a host of other family members and friends.
Audrey’s family would like to thank the many nephrology specialists, nurses and dialysis staff at American Renal Associates that have cared for her over the last five years.
A memorial service will be held 3 pm, September 1, 2017 at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to either the National Kidney Foundation or the Bon Secours Hospice House.
RIP Sweetie I hope God and Jesus are great to you. Jennifer and Ryan will meet up with you again way later. We will miss you so much. Please look down on Jennifer their kids and Ryan and making they are always behaving everyday
