Obituary message
Barbara Joyce Emmons, 78, of Prince George, passed away May 23, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy B. Emmons, and her parents Haleen and James E. Warren of Hopewell. She was the property manager for Jovern Apartments, Prince George, VA., and loved to play piano, take photos, and volunteer when a helping hand was needed. She always liked to encourage the best out of everyone, and loved to go fishing with her very special friend, Cutter (C. E. Clements).
She is survived by daughter, Carolyn Cullen of Prince George, VA. and husband Joseph; son, Leroy B. Emmons, Jr. of Middleboro, MA. and wife, Jean; daughter, Linda Hanson of Bridgewater, MA. and husband Robert; grandson, Karl Hanson of Uxbridge, MA.; and grandson, Bryan Hanson of Bridgewater, MA.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 1:00 PM at South Hopewell Church of God, 2300 Bluefield St., Hopewell and being officiated by Pastor Sara Price & Pastor Donnie Price of Power and Prayer Worldwide Outreach Ministries, Richmond VA.
