Blanche Cole

February 18, 1920 – May 3, 2021

Mrs. Blanche Cole, of Richmond, Virginia, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 3, 2021. She was born on February 18, 1920 to the late Mr. Tommy Wyche and Ora Threats-Wyche.

Blanche was educated in the Prince George Public School System. She enjoyed spending time cooking, talking, laughing, having family gatherings, and loved being a childcare provider to many.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories of her daughters, Shirley Gary and Ethel Bassett; her sisters, Dorothy Mae Ellis and Ruth Wyche; and loving brother, Alexander (Tim) Wyche; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandchildren.

Blanche Cole is preceded in death by the late Mr. Johnny Cole, John Cole, Jr., Bernard Cole, James Cole, Leroy Cole, and Clarence Wyche.

A walkthrough visitation will be held from 3 to 7pm on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Affinity Funeral Service – Richmond Chapel, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Friday, May 14, 2021 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
