    Dear Heiko, Ann and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. I’ll never forget nor cease to be thankful for Carrie’s love and generosity. She was my Mom away from home. You know that she always looked out for me in more ways than I can count and probably more ways than I’ll ever know. Her strength, determination and tireless positive attitude, even when the chips were down will always be an inspiration. I am grateful l for the blessing of knowing her.

    Wishing you peace.

Carrie saw beauty in everyone and everywhere. She was inspiring and encouraging. I have held onto our many conversations: her words of encouragement and support are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing her with me so that my childhood included her love. May she rest in peace knowing that she shaped so many! Sending love and hugs!
