Charles Arthur Williams
May 7, 1935-June 19, 2023
Charles departed this life on June 19, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Williams; son, Steven Williams; parents, Leslie and Pearl Williams; brothers, Roger and Jimmy Williams.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Williams; brothers and sisters, Raymond, Frances, Bernice, Clifton, Margaret, Daisy, Lucy, Shirley, and Randy; and many nephews and nieces.
My family would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude for all the care the Crater Community Hospice staff rendered. Megan, Butterbean, and Shelby took great care of Charles during his time at home in hospice care. He could not stop talking about how much he loved his nurses, their conversations, their cooking, and their hard work. They made his last days at home much brighter and more comfortable until his passing. A special thanks to Rosa Wells and Doug Bluewolf Hopkins for all the time and effort put in for Charles’ care. Charles appreciated it more than you know, and we will be forever grateful.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm Friday, July 7, 2023, at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Crater Community Hospice.
