Charles Cascio Jr 52 passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on February 10, 2020 after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Charlie was a lifelong NY Mets fan and avid baseball memorabilia collector; he lived his entire life in NY until moving to Midlothian in October of 2019. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Beverly Cascio and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Charlie is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years Kathy, his loving son and best friend Joseph. His 3 loving siblings Joe (Jo Ann), Michael (Nancy) and Kathleen (Frank). Adoring uncle of RJ (Jackie), Charles Joseph (Stephanie), Gabrielle, Kimberly, Frankie, James, Angelina, Chase, Nathan and Hayden. Charlie is also survived by his brother-in law Kevin Havlik, numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
Charlie will be missed beyond measure ~ To know Charlie was to love Charlie, he was a kind, funny and loving soul with an infectious smile. Charlies motto was Family Comes First and he never wavered from that motto. Rest easy my love, your peace is well deserved. Until we meet again143
Charlies wishes were to be cremated; the family will be planning a Celebration of Life service in NY in the near future. Details to come. LET’S GO METS!
