Charles Gregory Waters
Nov. 11, 1955 – Mar. 13, 2020
Charles Gregory Waters passed away on, March 13, 2020, at the age of 64.
Greg joins his parents, Bobbie Louise Waters and Charles Waters at heaven’s pearly gates. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Condrey Waters of 32 years, son, Charles Daniel Waters, daughter-in-law, Hallie Stewart Waters, and daughter, Claire Louise Waters. Greg was a selfless servant of the Lord. His faith was sound and strong in all that he did. Greg was THE best husband, father, and soon-to-be grandfather.
We firmly believe Greg is walking with our God. Greg will be missed but remembered by the legacy he built for the Waters family.

Dear Deborah, Daniel and Claire,
I have no words to express the loss in my heart for Greg’s passing. He was a great friend and my closet client. I have been reflecting on how many times we just sat and talked about life and shared meaningful stories. I will remember him for the rest of my life and he was one of my favorite humans I have ever met.
To the three most wonderful people that Greg has left behind, I am deeply sorry. Please know that I am here for you all.
Sending love and healing for your loss.
Your friend,
Tom Duke

On the night of March 12th I had a dream where I was little again and at the Waters house where our family and many others often went to be well hosted, loved and served by Greg and his family. These gatherings were often and some of the most uplifting times and memories for my family.
How bittersweet it is to find out the next day that your dear friend who made these sweet memories a reality has passed away.

Dear Deborah, Daniel, Claire and Hallie,
Words really can’t express our loss of such a dear friend. I have read the messages before mine and have to concur that we agree with all of them. We were fortunate enough to feel like family members. There are just so many memories that we can reflect back on.I can’t remember a time when we were leaving anyplace that we all didn’t hug and say , “ I Love You” , meaning every word. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and we will always be available anytime you need us. We will probably be there even when you are ready to be left alone. We love each of you dearly and know that Greg is in Heaven , meeting everyone he can to be ready when we all join him. I have always told everyone that Greg knows somebody for anything you need and can do anything you need. We are so thankful for so many precious memories.
We Love You,
Mrs. Bev and Mr. Keith

I extend my deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family of Greg Waters. I pray these words from that great hymn “Come, Ye Disconsolate” will serve as a comfort to you in your loss: “Come, ye disconsolate, where’er ye languish, Come to the mercy seat, fervently kneel; Here bring your wounded hearts, here tell your anguish: Earth has no sorrow that heav’n cannot heal” – I invoke God’s blessings upon each of you and pray that you continue to lean on the everlasting arm of our Savior Jesus Christ who can and will heal all sorrows if we will only submit to His will. I salute a life of love to all mankind. Greg was a faithful friend and his legacy will live on through those he helped during his time here on earth.

Greg was man that used all the talent that God gave him, he never helped back when he had an opportunity to help and bless someone. I just got back from Brazil on Saturday and was surprised with the sad news of his passing. He will be missed for sure and his legacy will continue to live on and inspire the ones that knew him. Linda, Lindsay, and I were both surprised and deeply saddened to hear of Greg’s passing. We didn’t know him well, but enough to know what a great soul he was and how deeply loved he was by friends and family. I picked up my German hat today and it reminded me of the Oktoberfest you all joined us for a few years back. He was a very fun loving man as well. May God keep him in his Peace. Bless you all

May you find comfort and solace in the many happy memories and the love of family and friends.

I send my love and prayers to the whole family. Greg was a great person and so very talented. I loved working with him in Glorious Christmas Nights.
He was a wonderful Christian man, and I can just hear that powerful voice as he sings praises to our Lord.

It takes awhile to respond when things happen. He was my rock and friend. Sometimes you can tell when you’re able to sit down with someone and talk about anything that comes to you. Greg was that type of man. I will miss him. Thank you Greg you will be missed.
