Curtis Patterson Meade
February 4, 1947 – September 21, 2022
Curtis Patterson Meade, 75, of Glen Allen, Virginia joined Heaven’s Band on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
Well-known lead guitarist, talented musician, and singer. Curtis was a kind, gentle man who enjoyed a 60-year career doing what he loved the most, playing music. The love for his family was a sweet song to us all.
Predeceased by his parents, Claude and Isabell Meade; brothers Ronnie Meade and Ryland Meade; and brother-in-law Jimmy Dean.
Survived by his cherished love, Sara Howle Williams; son Curtis Daniel Meade and devoted daughter-in-law, Keri Meade; daughter Julia Meade Dubois (Bill); son Jason Curtis Meade (Jessica); grandsons Chase Dubois and Cody Dubois (Karina); beloved granddaughter Emma Paige Meade; Kevin, Eli and Zoë Williams who knew and loved him as “U.G.”; sister Donna Dean Stevens; brothers Philip Meade, Danny Meade and Chris Meade; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; and his four-legged “son” Jack.
A private family-only service will be held at Meade Memorial Gardens. A musical celebration in Curtis’ honor is planned for a later date and will be announced on social media.
