Daisy Blair (Smith) Henderson, age 84, received her wings, February 12, 2021.
Daisy Blair was born in Brooklyn, NY. Daisy grew up in Richmond; she was as a proud graduate of Maggie L. Walker HS, class of 1954. Daisy owned and operated the Henderson Home, providing outstanding care to many, for nearly 30 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Regina Chaney Walker; son, Paul Harris; grandchildren, Stella Walker (Darnell), Justin Walker (Melinda), Cody Blair Walker and Braxton Harris; three great-grandchildren; and a brother Herman “Buck” Williams. A host of relatives and friends, one devoted and faithful friend Mable Scott.
A viewing will be held at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294 from 4 to 6 pm Friday, February 19, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 11am Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
The service will be live-streamed at www.hrccrichmond.org.

I have such admiration for Blair and the family. Regina is my sister friend and Estelle Blair’s mom was a second mother. Blair always had a smile and she had a purpose in life. She was a beautiful person who helped make the world a better place.

I was just looking for Miss Daisy looking for Miss Daisy or something so let me put in an obituary if she still living and this came up I love that lady so much sorry of her passing she gave me a job when I was doing really bad I kept Miss Florence her cousin for her and miss Harris her cousin that lived on the terrace and she paid me well may she rest in peace I will never forget her
