Danny Edwards Shores Sr.
February 3, 1949 – August 6, 2023
Danny Edwards Shores Sr., 74, of Mechanicsville, Virginia passed away on August 6, 2023, at the beautiful Hospice House in Bon Air, VA after a short battle with cancer.
Danny is survived by his children, Marilyn (Benny), Danny Jr (Michelle), and Charlie; his grandchildren, Chris, Eain, Megan, Anna, and Danny III (Trey); his only precious great-grandchild, Hunter Grace; his sister, Marian (Dallas); and countless cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Danny is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Carolyn; and his parents, Charlie and Lucy Shores.
Danny loved bluegrass music, Elvis, Nascar racing, Washington Football, fishing, and spending time with his friends, especially John and Sybil. He always
looked forward to his time at Gus’ but was the happiest when he was with his grandchildren!
Danny’s family will host a Celebration of Life Service will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Battlefield Green Clubhouse.
