Obituary message

Darrell Eugene Long Jr. (Gene), 69, of Henrico County left us suddenly on Saturday, July 9, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father Darrell E Long Sr., mother Lee Ellen Shore Long, and grandson John Robert Safriet Cox. He is survived by his wife Candace (Candy) McLamb Long, his sister Diane Jester Long, his children Kevin E Long, Sheila Long-Cox, Michael E Long, Stephanie M. Long (Stacey Messer), grandson of the home Keegen N Long, other grandchildren (4), great-grandchildren (5), nieces Angela Johnson (Zendal), Le Ann Hicks (David), Robin Bailey, nephew Ray Jester Jr., many other great nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2pm at United Christian Church, 2101 Fordson Road, Henrico, VA 23329. There will be a reception to follow in the fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Journey Christian Church P O Box 29309, Henrico, VA 23242.
