Our beloved Dave, The memories will live on, those wonderful memories made when we were all young! It was an honour to have you in our family.
Dave and family, So sorry to hear of your loss. Prayers for your family. Hugs.
I send my love and prayers to Nancy, Dave, Ellie, Iffet, and Chris.
David came into my life as my first nephew when I was five years old. Although he stole the thunder of a five-year-old, over the last 75 years I have enjoyed the times we could be together. He had the tenacity of a Davis, tempered by a delightful sense of humor.
Dave and family: Sincere sympathy in the loss of your dad. I always enjoyed encountering him here and there in our routine travels to such places as the grocery store!
I first met Dave in the early 60s at Wallops Island where he was in the Apprentine Program. He has been a good friend over the years, and lately has been one of the few people I have had contact with from our time at Wallops. We had been exchanging text messages very recently, and he will be missed very much. Dave was quite a story-teller, and I still laugh when I think of some of his stories. One event that illustrates how his mind worked occurred when we were visiting the manufacturer of a piece of equipment for a project we were working on. They were bragging about how robust their equipment was when Dave reached over and unplugged it. Everything went haywire. I never saw such scrambling as they fell all over themselves trying to figure out what had happened. I give my sincere condolences to the family.
