Debra Carroll Wood, 69, of Henrico County passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and her closest friends on Thursday, August 18, 2022.
She will be remembered as a dear sister, a wonderful aunt, a child of God, and a wonderful caring friend to those around her.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at The Church of The Nazarene, 6003 Hawkes Lane, Richmond, VA 23223.

It has been decades since I last saw Debbie. We attended Highland Springs together and graduated in 1971. We both attended Chesterfield Baptist Church. I fondly remember Debbie and the house in Lawndale Farms. Debbie was quiet and reserved until you got to know her. She is now free of any pain or suffering she may have been going through. If it wasn’t a sin to envy, I would envy her being in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
