Delores M. Carter
July 29, 1948 – June 23, 2019
Delores Marie “Dee” Carter, born June 29, 1948 found comfort of the Lord as he welcomed her on Sunday, June 23, 2019 to join her loved ones who passed before her.
She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Cleveard and Delphia Carter; parents Dennis Carter and Marie Jenkins; and beloved brother, Tommy Jenkins. Dee is survived by her siblings and family members, Pat Elmadany, Joyce Grose and spouse, Mike, Ken Carter, Jan Roach, Mike Carter and spouse Libby, Deb Garrison, Donna Salmon, Chuck Jenkins, Lisa Deane and spouse Keith; many nieces, nephews, her beloved fur babies and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 25 at Buford Road Baptist Church, 819 Buford Rd, North chesterfield 23235.

I pray this family sees what they meant to Dee, When I found out she was sick she told me that she knew she did this to herself and it was her fault for not going to the Dr when she should have. But if this is what it took to bring her closer to her sisters it was worth it. Dee was a wonderful, giving , compassionate woman. She cared for my parents when we needed a caregiver and she was so good with them, she loved them deeply and they loved her. A life gone too soon , she will be missed and I hope someone is giving her doggies the care she would have given them if she went back home. She loved them so much. I pray for everyone’s comfort and hope they can learn something from the passing of Dee. Life is too short !! Rest in peace my dear friend , I love you
