Dianne Jennine Kolar

March 14, 1951 –  April 17, 2024

Dianne Jennine Kolar, 73, of Prince George, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Dianne was the daughter of the late Cyril Michael Vedomske Sr. and Marcelle Dolores Vedomske.  She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Edward David Kolar; her children, Trisha Dolores Bland (Scott); Jared David Kolar and Jacob Shane Kolar; one granddaughter, Hannah Nicole Bland; three siblings, Cy Vedomske, Dale Vedomske and Vicki Hall; six nieces and nephews, Stacey Faris, Shannon Schmitt, Brett Vedomske, Amy Pirus (Rhoten), Andrew Pirus and Greg Hall.

Dianne was an exceptionally devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was a black belt in Shorin-Ryu Karate, enjoyed cross stitching, sewing, laying in the sun at the beach, and always wanted to be a dancer; ‘we hope you are dancing in heaven’.   Dianne was a retired dedicated nurse from the VA Hospital for more than 40 years. She started her career in the mid 1970’s at the VA Hospital in Long Beach, California.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.

In honor of Dianne, her family will celebrate her life with a memorial service held early Summer,  2024.
