Donald Thrower, Sr.
October 15, 1939 – October 27, 2021
Donald Thrower, Sr., 82, of Henrico County, VA, transitioned peacefully on October 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Thrower, Sr., and mother, Lilly Pearl Thrower; siblings, Henry Jr., Ellen, Mamie, Jessie, Betty, and James; and a grandson, Donald Jay Thrower. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Josephine W. Thrower; three sons, Donald, Jr., Anthony, and Darrell Thrower; five grandchildren, Christopher, Julian, Rashelle, Rashaad, and Raven; six great-grandchildren; stepdaughters, Brenda Gibbon and Alexis Harris (Charles III), and son, Charles IV; one sister-in-law, Mildred Thrower; devoted nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Honoring Donald’s last wishes there will be no services. Please keep Donald’s family in prayer as we learn to navigate life without him. He is still loved, already missed, and will be forever remembered. We are at peace knowing that he is with our Lord and Savior and each of his loved ones who predeceased him
