Obituary message
Dora Uebele Cochran, age 90, passed away Friday, August 25, at Elizabeth House in Glen Allen, VA. She was predeceased by her parents, Rudolph and Stella Uebele; brother, Charles Uebele; and sister, Mary Skelton. She is survived by her children, Sandra Taylor (Wayne) of Mechanicsville, Dora May (Galen) of Cullowhee, NC, and Susan Cochran and Nancy Pitts of Richmond; grandchildren, Stephanie Creekmore (Toby), Matt Taylor, Preston Bounds (Amber), Jacob Pitts, and Ben Pitts; great grandchildren, Stella Creekmore and Kingston Bounds; sisters, Barbara Brooks (Felix) and Jean Edwards of Tappahannock, VA; and several nieces and nephews. Dora retired from Westminster-Canterbury of Richmond after 28 years of faithful service. She was loving and devoted to her family and to her Elizabeth House family. The family wishes to thank Elizabeth House and AseraCare Hospice. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27th, 2017 at Western Hanover Church, 16050 Mountain Rd.
