Edward Wayne Shinault Sr., 77, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, passed away peacefully on August 30^th, 2023, at Bon Secours Community Hospice House.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Warren Shinault, his 2 sons Wayne Jr. (Heather) and Brad (Lauren), and his 3 grandchildren Katie, Riley, and Trace.

Wayne retired from Central Fidelity Bank after 26 years to pursue a newfound passion as a school bus driver for Hanover County. To which he then continued at St. Christopher’s and St. Catherine’s School.

He was a motorcycle enthusiast, belonging to many clubs including Virginia Motorcycle Association, Retreads, Harley Owners Group, Old Dominion Riders Motorcycle Club, and was a lifetime member of the AMA.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life from 2pm – 7pm on Saturday, September 30^th, 2023, at the Magnolia Clubhouse at Giles 9186 Halifax Green Drive, Mechanicsville, Virginia, 23116. All are welcome to come share a beer and your favorite memory of Wayne.
