Eric Patrick Catus

Eric Patrick Catus passed away at the age of 59 on Sunday, October 18, 2020.
Eric was married to Robin, affectionally known as Sobe, as he was her Ishmael. Eric was a loving husband and father as well as a man of faith, daily walking and living the life he spoke about.
Eric was born on September 7, 1961 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Joseph B. Catus and Helen M. DeVaughn. He was an excellent chef, a tech wizard, a private soloist, a storyteller, and a sports enthusiast. His greatest love was for his God, his wife, his children, his grandchildren and his extended family. When Eric loved, he loved with great intensity and gladly made it known. He reveled with pride and joy in the accomplishments of his babies.
He is survived by his wife, Robin; his children, Kristen, Dione, Aeriel, Camille Edward), Javier (Erin), Keyah (Deontae), and Alexandria (Jeremiah); his grandchildren; a loving mother-in-law, Mom Ethel (William); two sisters-in-law, Patricia and Katina (Jamie); and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 23 at Affinity Funeral Service Chapel. There will be no interment service.
