Born on May 13,1975, Erin Beth Yost (Lloyd) passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at the age of 45. She resided in Chester a majority of her life. Erin was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip M. Yost and Rita J. Yost. She is survived by her loving son, Christian P. Martin; her sole brother, Jeffery A. Yost; step-brothers, Denny Johnson and Willie Johnson; nephews, Jacob Yost (Tabitha) and Chase Yost; niece, Madison Yost; great-nieces, Aubree and Ryleigh Yost; an aunt, Ann (Joe) McCoy of Radford, VA; numerous extended family and friends; and her beloved dog, Kooda.
Erin was a 1993 graduate from Thomas Dale High School. During her junior and senior year, she attended Chesterfield Technical Center and found her passion, caring for others as a CNA which led her to continuing her career in the medical field over the years. She always had a big smile, a contagious laugh, and a huge heart for helping the less fortunate. Erin spent her free time volunteering at, A Place of Miracles Cafe in Richmond, for the last 5 years.
Her favorite past time was to go thrift shopping, and to go to the OBX, where she enjoyed collecting seashells, watching the beautiful sunsets, and just relaxing on the beach with her toes in the water, and her *** in the sand, with her family and friends. She also was a very avid nap taker.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Bellwood Baptist Church, 9138 Quinnford Blvd, Richmond, VA 23237. Mandatory Covid 19 restrictions will be followed. Mask will be required and please follow social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that monetary donations be considered for the Richmond SPCA at 2519 Hermitage Road, Richmond, VA. 23220.
you surely will be missed my dear friend. you sure had a big heart and cared about others. I love you so much and will miss our time together and your morning and daily text messages. shine on best friend, you have a special place in my heart.
