Obituary message

Everett E. Burt, born January 6, 1954 in Richmond, VA to the late Mattie J. Burt-Robinson and the late Alfred Pleasants departed this life Saturday September 8th, 2018. He received his education in the Richmond Public Schools before joining the United States Army where he served honorably. He retired from the Henrico County Public School System where he worked twenty years as a dedicated employee. He is preceded in death by his mother the late Mattie J. Burt – Robinson, Father, the late Alfred Pleasants and Stepfather, the late James C. Robinson Jr. Everett loved his family and friends, would do anything to help anyone, and was a devoted fan of country music and an avid automobile enthusiast and collector.

He is survived by devoted brothers, Marvin O. Burt (Jacquelin H.) of Atlanta, GA, Barry L. Robinson of Ashland, VA, and Edward L. Robinson of Richmond, VA, one sister Belinda B. Pringle of New York, NY., two devoted aunts, Shirley B. Houze (John) and Emma L. Burt both of Richmond, VA, two nephews, two nieces, seven great nieces and two great nephews, a host of cousins and extended family and devoted friends Stuart C. Tobias and Keith A. Bland of North Chesterfield, VA.

A military service is planned for Thursday October 25th, 2018, 3pm at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia 10300 Pridesville Road Amelia, VA 23002.
