McLaughlin, Frances R. 90, of Richmond, passed away October 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, George L. Goodin and Arthur R. McLaughlin, Sr.; and son, Arthur R. McLaughlin, Jr. She is survived by her three children, Jean Webster (Phillip), George L. Goodin, Jr. (Charlsea), Kimberly M. Vanhoose (Derrick); her sister, Elva Howell; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12 from 5-7pm at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294. A service will be held on Friday, October 13 at 11am at the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. You were more than just a grandmother you were a mom to me. I love you so much and will miss you dearly.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mrs. McLaughin was a wonderfully sweet lady. I have very fond memories of our days spent at her house on Kenwood Ave.
