McLaughlin, Frances R. 90, of Richmond, passed away October 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, George L. Goodin and Arthur R. McLaughlin, Sr.; and son, Arthur R. McLaughlin, Jr. She is survived by her three children, Jean Webster (Phillip), George L. Goodin, Jr. (Charlsea), Kimberly M. Vanhoose (Derrick); her sister, Elva Howell; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12 from 5-7pm at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294. A service will be held on Friday, October 13 at 11am at the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Online guestbook available at affinityfuneralservice.com.

You were more than just a grandmother you were a mom to me. I love you so much and will miss you dearly.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mrs. McLaughin was a wonderfully sweet lady. I have very fond memories of our days spent at her house on Kenwood Ave.
