LANGFORD, Frank Malcolm, Jr. 76, of Richmond, passed away April 13, 2018 at Henrico Doctors Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank M. Langford, Sr. and Ruth Beard Langford; and his sister, Nancy Langford Hall. Frank was born in Charlottesville on October 2, 1941. He started his accounting career at State Farm in Charlottesville, later moving to Frederick, Maryland where he met and married his loving wife and partner for life, Sally Ecker Langford. He moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1966 where he worked for Reynolds Metal Co. for 32 years. He retired in 1997 and continued to work and enjoy his favorite pastime as an antique dealer with West End Antiques. He loved his river house and fishing with family. He is survived by his wife of 51 years; his beautiful and faithful children, David M. Langford (Casey) and Sara E. Langford (Kristin Harrison); seven grandchildren, Haley, Alex, and Megan Langford, and Harrison, Bayley, Fraser, and Lee Melton; two sisters-in-law; and extended family. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy. Richmond, Virginia 23294, on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, or your favorite charity.
