Dear Family,
More than 60 years ago, George (we called him Georgie back then) and I were best pals. We ran, rode our bikes, and got into all kinds of harmless mischief typical for kids aged 5-6 so many years ago. When my family moved we lost touch but I’ve never forgotten his smile, his sense of adventure, and the friendship we shared. My heart goes out to all of you for the loss of your wonderful husband, father and grandfather. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
Thank you for remembering George and just so you will know, he never lost his sense of adventure or his love of harmless mischief. I agree with you about his smile…I could never stay mad at him once he looked at me and smiled. Thank you also for your prayers.
Elizabeth
God Bless you Elizabeth. I have kept you and your family in my prayers every day since learning of George’s passing and will continue to do so.
