Aunt G you were like a second mother to me. Words cannot express how grateful I am for the love you shown me through the years. My memories of you will never fade away, all the times I would come visit and you would always send me home with something to eat and a craft you made. I will miss your smile, your laugh, your warm spirit and definitely will miss your dancing (smiling). While your passing saddened us all your life brought us so much happiness. May the work you have done speak for you! Thank you Auntie for everything. Love Terry

My heart is a bit heavy from the loss of my Aunt Beaudy (Georgia Aileen Crandell), but I must stay focused and know that God is too good to make a mistake. Thanking God that he allowed Auntie to exceed her appointed time of 3 score and ten years of age. (70 years old)

I met Ms. Beaudy and her girls, some 50+ years ago, when she and my mother, Irene Willis, became the best of friends. Those two ladies would ride the road until the gas tank went past Empty. 😊 I loved myself some Ms. Beaudy! We all became one big happy family!

Every year for as long as I can remember, I would always look forward to sending Ms. Beaudy a Christmas card, as I would anxiously await her phone call in return to reminisce and catch up.

Just prior to the Pandemic, my niece/daughter, Shon and I decided to take our annual trip. When she asked me where I wanted to go, I quickly responded that I wanted to go to Richmond, VA to see Ms. Beaudy!

We surprised Ms. Beaudy. She was so overjoyed! I can still see that Big Ole smile on her face! And more so, I can see the expression on her face, when I referred to her as “Aunt Beaudy!” She said, Vickie, “what did you call me?” I repeated myself, and said, “Aunt Beaudy”! Her world lit up, as did mine!

Frances, Wilma & family, my prayers are with you. Thank you for sharing your mother with my family and I for all these years. Let’s keep in touch!

    Love you.

To the Family Frances, Wilma & extended family. When I first received the news about the passing of our beloved Aunt Beaudy, I just started reminiscing. As my sister Vickie Willis Joyner had recently stated she was our mother Irene Willis best friend. And she became an Auntie to all of us. I can recall sleeping over your house so many times, Wilma and I were best friends. Some of the things that come to mine was the oatmeal cakes and all the snacks that she would provide and we could eat as much as we wanted. It was like heaven on earth. She was always very kind and nice to me and my family. Her smile could light up the whole room when she entered. Yes, you will truly be missed, but our love will remain unstoppable and steadfast. 2 Corinthians 5:8: Paul said “To be absent from the body, is to be Present with the Lord.” I love you all!!!

I have many memories of you when I was much younger. I remember the smile that was always on your face and the love you had for your nieces and nephews. You are a gem to have and be around. To the family, God just took one of the best and your heart has a void. Hang on to your memories and spread the love just like she did.

I miss you 🥰 so much grandma 👵 Georgia. Word’s can’t describe how much I miss you 🥰. You taught me so much in life. If it wasn’t for you telling me and jonas to get off our electronics and pay attention to our surroundings I would’ve known my way around Richmond. You will definitely be missed you always made me feel like I was younger again. I will miss all of the good times I spent with you . This isn’t totally good bye but until we meet again. You finally gain your wings to fly you are not in pain no more rest and peace grandma 👵 Georgia and fly high.
