TRIMMER, Helen K., 81, of Henrico passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020.
Helen was born on August 18, 1938 to Joseph and Hermie Kelly. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Duane Kahn; her beloved dog, Trixie; her Aunt Bea; and numerous close cousins.
A viewing will be held at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Parkway Richmond, VA 23294 on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from 5-7 pm. There will be a private family ceremony at her church, Deep Run Baptist Church on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 11am.
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Helen Trimmer. It’s been many, many years since I have seen her but that smile , when I look at this picture is bringing up so many fond memories of her. I worked with her at the Federal Reserve Bank and we had so many fun times; she kept us laughing, daily. She was such a happy person.
To her family, friends and love ones, you all have my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences. May her beautiful spirit rest in paradise.
My sympathy and prayers to Suzie and Duane, and to all those that love and will miss Helen. I believe Jamie was there to greet her grandmother and welcome her into heaven. A joyous reunion in heaven, but it leaves an emptiness and void on earth that can’t be filled until the time when you meet again.
I would like to offer my deepest condolences to Helen’s family. I haven’t seen Helen probably in over 10 years but I loved her dearly. She was the most kind hearted person and we had so much fun back in the day at Katy’s where we all hung out. I will always keep her memory close to my heart and I will always remember the great times we had together. God Bless you Helen – love Scatcey
