Jacquelin Nash Platt
Nov. 11, 1937 – Feb. 19, 2020
Jacquelin (“Jackie”) Nash Platt of Richmond passed away on February 19, 2020. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Robert Platt. She is survived by two children, David and Jenny; two step-children, Tracy and Jennie; and two grandsons, Holden and Weston. Jackie was born November 11, 1937 in Roanoke, VA to Jack and Charlotte Nash. She graduated from William Fleming High School in Roanoke and then attended Richmond Professional Institute’s School of Art. Jackie loved socializing with her many friends, taking cruises, taking drawing classes, working as a paralegal and watching games by the Richmond Squirrels and Washington Redskins. Jackie wished that there be no memorial or funeral service and that her ashes be buried with those of her husband, Bob.
Jackie worked in our office for the past 18 years. Prior to coming to help us, she had worked for many years for many different law firms in Richmind. She could have written the modern history of Richmond Law as it occurred in the offices and not in the Courts.
Her dedication to professionalism, her love for U of R and her late husband Bob, and her children and grandchildren knew no limits.
Those at Blank & Marcus, LLC will cherish her bright smile and the memories of the many years she shared with our lawyers , staff, and clients.
Rest In Peace dear friend and get Bob back to a beach when you reunite.
