
James Edward Taylor

James Edward Taylor (JT), 69, of Henrico, Va. passed peacefully, on Thursday, February 11,2021.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel Doris Taylor and James A. Taylor of Roslyn, Pa.; and his loyal feline companion, Spot.
He is survived by his life partner of 16 years, Diane Travis; sister Kathleen Tennis; and niece Teresa Barfield (TW).
Born in Philadelphia, Pa, Jim was an engineering graduate of Spring Garden College. His employers included Carrier Corporation, The Commonwealth of Virginia, Dominion Virginia Power and Power Train Control Solutions.
Jim was the owner and operator of The Winners Circle; one of the largest indoor RC racing facilities on the east coast, which became a favorite gathering spot for both professional and amateur racers. His amazing sense of humor and engaging tales of adventure were enjoyed by all who met him. Jim was a world traveler, scuba diver/ instructor, and an auto racing driver and enthusiast who enjoyed a full and exciting life. His kindness extended to anyone in need.
Jim’s smile and laughter will be greatly missed by us all, as he continues on to his next adventure.

Diane, I wish I had gotten to know Jim. He seems like a remarkable person, and we shared a lot of interests (cats, auto racing, r/c racing, music, diving). Peace and light to you and yours.

Jim, a kind and life loving person who was rich with talent, had such a smile with kindness, and shared his total lust for life with anyone near by. You will be missed!
