James W. Carter Sr., 91, of Richmond, Virginia passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Ann Carter. Survivors include his sons, Jimmy (Pat) and Danny (Betty); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There are no services planned at this time.
Rest in Peace Uncle Jimmy. Your spirit is now with your loving Ann. Say Hi to Dad and Grandma Ruby for me. I have memories of you and Ann both visiting us and bringing Caleb a special gift at Christmas. You will be missed.
I’m saddened at your passing Uncle Jimmy.
I was coming to visit. You had the best smile and jovial presence.
I’d say you rose well to the occasion of life, and helped me to understand several aspects of a tough old world.
You’ll be missed- but in greater company🙏

We are so sad at your passing Jimmy. Rest in peace, you are in a better place. We have such great memories of the good times we shared with you and Ann. You both were very special to us.
RIP, Uncle Jimmy; you were such a huge wonderful part of my childhood for which the memories are forever in my heart. Blessed are you to again with your beloved Ann.
