Janice Faye Southard
December 17, 1953-January 13, 2021
Janice Faye “Snookie” Southard, 67, of Chesterfield, loving Wife, Mother and Meme, went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2021. She was greeted at Heaven’s gate by her parents Donald and Wanda Withrow, and her twin sister Janet (Pudgie) Poole.
She is survived by her husband, Richard “Junior” Southard; her sisters Nancy Driscoll, Carrie Page, and Ronna Sotos; her brothers Bobby, Donnie and Billy Withrow; her daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Casey Cason; her son and daughter-in-law Casey and Taera Southard; her grandchildren, Trinity Stevenson, Caleb, Olivia, and Maxton Southard; Maddie and Paisley Cason.
Many people considered Janice their second Mother. She had a way of seeing brightness in others. She saw great things in life and loved deeply. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family at the river and family vacations. She was a collector of many things. Her heart belonged to her six grandchildren, they were her whole world. Janice was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman. We will miss her every day.
A celebratory service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, cards etc please consider a donation to your charity of choice in her name.
