Jeffrey “Scott” Martin, known by his friends as Marty, 51 of Henrico Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 8, 2021. Scott is survived by his mother, Dana Patterson (John); father, Jack Martin (Linda); two daughters Lyndsay and Ashley Martin; brothers, Shawn Wayne Patterson (Amanda) and Dean Jackson Martin; sister, Daphne Patterson. The mother of his children, Marie Martin, his girlfriend Wanda Griffith, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Scott graduated from Freeman High School in 1989. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters, hunting, fishing, playing music, and enjoying the company of his countless friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Bertha Cumber, with whom he shared an immensely special bond. Scott had a contagious and distinctive laugh that could light up even the darkest room.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 1:30pm at Greenwood Memorial Gardens and will be open to the public.
