Jenna Nicole Mitchell

Sept. 22, 1992 – Oct. 4, 2021

Jenna Nicole Mitchell, 29, of Green Bay, Va., left us unexpectedly in her home Monday October 4th.

She was full of life and had the loves of nature, music, animals, gardening, cooking, and hula hoop twirling/dancing. She was an exceptional artist specializing in pencil drawing. She especially loved her acreage where her animals liked to play and explore. She loved venison cooked by her father and collected four leaf clovers like her mom.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Robert Harvey and paternal grandmother Evelyn Mitchell.

Survivors include her parents, Genise and Rick Mitchell; her brothers Jonathan “Jonny” (Stacey) and Ryan; her nephews Jax and Hendrix; maternal grandmother, Shirley Harvey; paternal grandfather Jim Mitchell; aunt Debbie (Wade) Inge and cousin Jordan (Angelina) Inge, and cat Frankie. She has numerous family members in Maryland, South Carolina, New Jersey, Florida, Massachusetts, Illinois, Texas, Arkansas, California, and Virginia.

Jenna built a life with Kevin Sullivan, her domestic partner, constant companion, and boyfriend of the past few years plus she leaves behind their beloved animals; dogs, Sheelah, Tulip, Aries, Bailey, and Pua along with cats, Cinnamon, Biscuits, Mary Jane, and Bella.

A Celebration of Life will be at Robious Landing Park, Shelter #1 on Sunday 10/24 from 1:30 pm to 4 pm.

Please get you COVID shot. You have a 50/50 chance of survival. Do you feel lucky? Do you think you are immune? As you read an obituary, please note there is no chance of a do-over.

I will never forget the day the police knocked on our door.
