Jerry Donnell Turner
February 16, 1954 – July 24, 2023
Jerry Donnell Turner, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on July 24, 2023, at the VA McGuire Hospital in Richmond, VA.
Jerry was born on February 16, 1954, in Chesterfield County. He grew up in a loving home with three brothers and five sisters. Jerry was educated in the Chesterfield County Public School System, and he served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Jerry accepted Christ at an early age at Brown Grove Baptist Church.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Marion L. Turner; two sisters: Marva L. and Lavonia T. Crew; one brother: Mitchell O. Turner and one brother-in-law: Linwood L. Crew.
Jerry is survived by his daughter: Jervatus Brooks-Bell (James) and his son: Courtney D. Turner, Sr.; two grandsons, Jaiquan M. Bell and Courtney D. Turner, Jr.; One great-granddaughter, Braelyn MaKenzi Bell; three sisters: Flora T. Crenshaw (Charles), Lotta O. Davis (Milton) and Pamela Majette (Lawrence); two brothers: Clifford E. Turner and Gleen L. Turner; one aunt: Irene Freeman. One longtime friend: Mary B. Carter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, August 4, at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Parkway, Richmond, VA 23294. Interment will be private.

Jerry was a very dear friend, cousin, buddy who always looked out for me back in the day, could depend on him always. We shared many memories. Gone but never forgotten, until we met again. Love you family
