Jordyn Elizabeth Livingston
January 9, 2001- April 8, 2021
Jordyn Elizabeth Livingston of Goochland County passed away suddenly at 20 years old. She was born in Richmond, graduated from Goochland High School, and was pursuing a degree in early childhood education. Jordyn had recently started a new job doing what she loved, teaching and caring for young children.
She is survived by her parents, Mark and Kathryn Livingston; her brothers, Mark and John; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, “adopted family,” and friends.
Our favorite redhead will always be remembered for her spontaneity, smile, infectious humor, and kindness towards others.
There is no funeral or service planned. A celebration of Jordyn’s life is being planned for late May. Because of Jordyn’s love of children, the family suggests that memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or another equally worthy charity of one’s choice.
Your family stays in my thoughts and prayers. Praying for a peace that passes understanding and the strength to withstand such a tragedy. Love to all.
Your family has been, and continues to be in my thoughts and prayers. I have such fond memories of Jordyn. Love to you all.
We keep your family in our thoughts and prayers and hold our memories of Jordy in our hearts!
You will always be Ms.Kelly’s SUPERSTAR. I was so blessed to have spent the last several weeks seeing you everyday and saying hi to my sweet Jordy..love you always. Love to the family❤
I’ve known Jordyn for 3 weeks because we worked together. In those three weeks she was so kind and helpful, a sweet and quiet soul but once she opened up she would tell the funniest jokes and it would seem like I knew her for longer than three weeks. Gone too soon but she will definitely be missed by all of us here!!
My thoughts and prayers are with the family! 🙏
Sending love to the family. Be strong and carry her light forward.
I wasn’t very good friends with Jordyn, but anytime we said hello in school, she had the prettiest smile on her face. I am praying for you all, I’m so sorry for your loss.
Jordyn was such a lovely young lady. A beautiful ray of sunshine. I feel blessed to have met her. I am continuing to keep all affected by this tragic loss close in thoughts and extra prayers. Godspeed Sweet Beauty ♥️
I never hung out with Jordyn very much but from what we told one another in passing I learned how undeniably sweet and optimistic she was. She was always smiling, and even came with our mutual friend Abby Layne to visit me when I was in the hospital. May God give her the greatest gifts He can manage. 💕
I taught Jordyn in 7th grade. I am so sorry for your loss.

My dear Kathy, I want to again express my condolences to your family. Meeting Jordyn and knowing a little about her from your stories, as a proud parent, was a pleasure. Losing a loved one is very devastating to hear, let alone experience. Death is common, but it is far from normal. If there is any consolation, she will not hurt or suffer any longer. Please be assured that she is now at peace and in time you will have peace as well. I send virtual hugs to you all and will keep you in my thoughts and prayer. Love Ms. Candice
Jordyn was quiet and sweet person who love children. I saw it her in just a short 3 weeks while working at KinderCare. I saw how the children love and enjoy being around her. The very first day I met her I knew she was special even though she was shy. I am honored to have had her to grace my present in those short weeks
May Lord Bless Livingston Family and give you peace in your time sorrow. May Lord comfortable you when you at your lowest. I will always keep you in my prayers.
Jordyn was such a kind and loving person who was taken from this world too soon. For only being a tescher here at Kindercare for a few weeks, she certainly showed her amazing skills in the early childhood education field. My thoughts go out to her family and friends.
I only got to with Jordyn for a few weeks, but she was a kind, sweet and quiet young lady. My prayers and thoughts are with her family and friends. May you all find peace and comfort in this difficult time.
Jordyn was such a sweet and kind person. We would always say hi to each other after she started working at KinderCare. My prayers and safe thoughts are with her and your family. I hope you find peace through this hard time.
