PAYNE, Joseph Cory, 29, of Richmond passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019. Survivors include his parents, Ron and Pam Payne; brother Jeremy Payne, sisters Melissa Mayhew and Kim Hebner; grandmothers, Agnes Gary and Nancy Papen; nieces Kayla, Alexis and Brooke; and nephews Aiden and Kourbin. A memorial gathering will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Monday, March 4 at Affinity Funeral Service.
My heartfelt sympathy to each of you. No other pain will ever be greater than the pain of losing a child. Our heavenly Father knows the difficulities you are facing. Through his Word he helps us to understand why death occurs and what he will in the near future do to rectify the grief that we undergo due to losing our loved ones to this aged-old-enemy (death).

Cory, you were someone that everyone enjoyed being around and always had a great time with you and you had the biggest heart I have ever met Penny’s going to miss you incredibly and I’ll be thinking about you every night we miss you already Rest in Peace Cory and of course God bless his family.

Family continue to put strong faith in the resurrection hope that God has put into our hearts. The sun has set in his life for right now but it will rise again very soon and will never set again.
