Joseph Venible Wright Jr., 52, of Richmond passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 14, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Wright Sr. and his sister Donna Fisher. He is survived by his ex-wife Patricia Wright; children April Davis, Kimberly Johnson (Derek), Taylor Wright, Ethan Shane Wright, Kiara Pike, and Amy Ann; “grangraddy” to Eva, Ashlyn, Layla, and Kolin; best friend John Carpenter; mother Shirley Wright; sister Michelle Trent; as well as many cousins, friends, and family.

Joe enjoyed watching Nascar and football. “We Dem Boys” He also enjoyed spending time bowling, shooting pool, fishing, gardening, drawing, and writing poetry.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 on Monday, February 25, 2019  at Affinity Funeral Services.
