Joyce Hall Cooke

March 27, 1943 – September 12, 2020

Joyce Hall Cooke, 77, of Bumpass, Va. went to heaven on Saturday, September 12, 2020.

Joyce is preceded in death by her mother, Ella Hall; her father, William Hall; and sister Sheila Mae Hall.  She is survived by her husband, Donald Cooke; her siblings, Betty James (Dan), Barbara Cooke (Dale), Anthony Hall (Georgia), Greg Hall (Brenda); her children Joe Holloway (Bella), Melanie Dawn Holloway Thomas (Jimmy Thomas), Quenten Holloway and David Holloway; her grandchildren, Emily, Allie, Ashley, Tripp, Amber, Catherine, Jacob and Ella: her great-grandchildren, Alexa and Hazel; and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was a loving caregiver to many.  She loved her flowers, strawberry picking, puzzles and coloring.

The family will receive family and friends from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Friday, September 18 at Affinity Funeral Service – Richmond Chapel, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294.  A memorial service will be held at 2:15 p.m. in the chapel.  Burial will be private.
