Joyce Seal Pace
October 17, 1950 – July 3, 2023
Joyce Pace, 72, of N. Chesterfield passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023, in her home. She was born on October 17, 1950, in Richmond, VA to Kenneth and Dorothy Seal.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Crystal Morris; grandchildren, Kat, Hayden, and Colton; brothers, Ray Seal (Connie) and Brian Seal (Diane); nephews, Clint Seal (Hillary)and Daniel Seal; and niece, Alexandra Seal.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Seal; brothers, Gene Seal and Kenneth Seal, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Debbie Seal.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294.
So very sorry for loss. Joyce was a wonderul person to work with. May God comfort you.
Joyce was a very good friend and neighbor to my mother, Connie Montgomery, who left the world a week before Joyce. You never knew what my mother might say and Joyce just rolled with it. The two of them would sit on deck, share a meal and enjoy the birds. As I spent more time in Richmond to care for my mom, I spent more time with Joyce. She was a strong woman, kind and thoughtful. She had the common sense that every person should possess. She loved her family deeply and fought to stay in this world as long as possible to be there for them.
May you find peace and rest Joyce. My sincere condolences to the family. May God bless you all.
